Desperate house sales time

So yesterday we were out and about and I saw these signs......
First off, I feel like I might be able to help both of these people by getting them together. Second, I know its hard to read and I will try to go back and take a better picture but the for sale sign says "Must Sale Home" Also Desperate is spelled wrong. Maybe they should write "Must have someone buy house" Then the "We buy houses" guy would call. Either way you could go to Suntrust and get a mortgage. Its all there conveniently located at 120 and 120.

Dog walk time

We went for a walk on Sunday and Sophie helped.

Florida Time

Last weekend I went to FL. I couldn't pass up the deal for airfare 13.00 each way. Nice! I don't like flying Spirit Air but the price was right. I flew down with Rookie and his girlfriend. We got there at 7am. After that we didn't meet up until it was time to head home. So on sat I rented a car and met up Jose, we went ran around town and ended up at Rocky's Replay and played video games for 2 hours. They had a deal of 45 tokens for 10.00. After that I went and got my hair cut. Went out Sat night to I-Bar or for those of us that have been going forever its still Barbarella's or barbs to us. Good times.

Sunday I went with my friends Dawn and Ken to Dixie Cross Roads. The best seafood place ever. I had the Dixie Spectacular a Single Maine Lobster1 Dz. Rock Shrimp1/4 lb. Scallops1/2 lb. Crab Legs and 2 sides of fries and salad. Here is what it looked like when it came out. You cant see the carb legs because they are hidden under the lobster. yum

Sunday night I hung out at my parents house then went to the movies. Moday was pretty relaxing and we flew back monday late afternoon.

It was good times.

Sam and Max Time

My uncle didn't think that I was playing enough video games. So He bought me this new Sam and Max game.

I played Sam and Max hit the road in 1993, which was good times. Also another great game from around the same time period Day of the Tentacle. The sequel to Maniac mansion. Best game ever!

Floor Time

We did it. We got wood floors. Yay! We ended up getting the eco friendly bamboo. looks much better than before. Its hard to tell from the pictures, because this is from the first year we lived in the house but the carpet needed to go. 3 dogs and white carpet is not a good idea. Plus it had a really ugly pattern, that gave it an 80's look.
This is Day 2
Here is the After
!!!!!!

I would like to thank my Friend Rich who recently moved to NC. He came down to install the floors. Now he is thinking looking for a job in GA to move here. Yay!

Closing time

Well,
This year I invested in a pool cover since it took me most of this summer to make our pool sparkle. It was so full of leaves it was clogging the vacuum and filter. So $200.00 later I got the pool covered and closed. looks good so far. Hopefully when spring comes around all I have to do is uncover it and shock it. Then its pool party time!

Sorry Lobster Hat! Time to go away for the winter.

Vegas Time

I went to Vegas this past weekend for work.
We all worked very hard and had good times.
I got to gamble a little and was only down $40 by the end of the trip.
Not too bad considering I brought $200 to gamble with. I played the Money Mad Martians. They were being good to me, on one spin I got a bonus that paid 80.00. yeah too bad I lost some on Wheel of Misfortune . Any way the line at the airport was insane. It was 7 am Sunday morning. You would think people would have been too hung over to go home. I didn't miss my flight but it was close, I grabbed some breakfast and hurried down to the gate, but I went the wrong way. So I turned and headed back and found my correct gate. Of course my plane was all the way at the end of the gate. They made the announcement "last call flight 775 Las Vegas to Atlanta" RUN!!!!!!!! Drink and egg sandwich in hand, back pack on and laptop case falling off my shoulder. I barely made it.

WhirlyBall

Ok, what do you call lacrosse, hockey and basketball with bumper cars? Whirly Ball of course....

We got to play last night. Its alot more fun than I thought it was.
Thats me in the back ground. I have no idea what I was doing. Go Red team!!!
On a side note this pic was taken on Jeffs iPhone, Goooooooooo iPhone.

NYC

So, I went on a trip to NYC this past weekend, with the Misses. We had a good time running around the city in a New York minute (What ever that means) We went to the Fraunces Tavern in lower Manhattan where a lot of revolutionary history took place. A very cool area with a lot of history.
We also go to catch up with our families for good times. we up with Melissa's cousins family and
we all went and had a psychedelic time at the Whitney museum for the Summer of love Psychedelic art. Trippy man. No drugs needed, my brain was fried after that. There was this room that you go into that was pitch black and you have to take your shoes off, the carpet is kind of fuzzy(I don't know I had socks on) But there was this glowing box with neon lights going around the edge and a square shape in the middle sitting in the middle of the room. Then there was high pitch sounds playing. Its really hard to explain but it was interesting.
Well thats about it. For some reason I didnt take alot of pictures on this trip... Bad me.

You got egg on your face.

This morning we went out for breakfast at J Christopher's. I ordered the traditional breakfast, which consists of 2 eggs, your choice of breakfast meat(I got bacon...mmmm bacon), grits, fruit and an English muffin. Everything looked good until I cut into my eggs. Right before my eyes a face appeared. Good thing I am not one of those people that doesn't eat anything with a face. I was hungry and everything tasted good despite my breakfast creepily staring back at me.

Chattanooga

Last weekend we went to Chattanooga TN. We got to see a lot of great stuff, the Tennessee aquarium, Imax movie, drove up Lookout mountain, and rode The Incline. Plus you get to ride the free shuttle that goes from the aquarium to the Chattanooga Choo-Choo, thats were the real fun is.You get to see/meet alot of interesting people (good people watching) I am sure the bus drivers know them all by name. I would recommend this as a nice get away and its fairly close to ATL.

Here we are going up!!!

Here we are going down!!!

Found this special treat at the top!

If you have never had a slush puppy before its like little ice beads with a flavored syrup. Its like Magic

The Ocoee River from the bridge at the top of the Olympic run
This weekend Jose and Jenn came up from Fl. We all went rafting on the Ocoee River. It was a great trip. Along the way driving through Tennessee I spotted a large ceramic squirrel (perfect for Jeff) for sale at some road side junk sale. It was like eBay for the hill-billies. I pulled over and rolled the window down, I asked the guy how much, he said it was a great item that it was also a bank and you could squirrel away your money. He then smiled at us with his good teeth and we were on our way. We then took a few pictures of the squirrel in his natural habitat. After we were done I think people thought we were steeling this squirrel. They were watching me the whole time when I was walking back to the car.

Doug McMann

I don't know why, but Doug is in a bad mood this morning. He shouldn't be because its Friday, maybe he is just getting ready for Monday. Maybe things are different in the Land of Whiteboard drawings where Doug lives. Imagine having to share an office with this grouch. I think he is having a bad comb-over hair day.

Computer Museum

A few weeks ago I went out of town for some training. In the lobby they had a mini computer museum. I actually had two of these systems at one time. The Commodore 64 and the TI-99 4A. I am supriesed they didnt have a Coleco Adam .

My friend Scott sent me this in the mail. Its real too, you can actually eat them, probably taste like Cheerios. He said he got them at 7-11. interesting that there is a disclosure that says "Product shown is not representative of the actual product inside" I would hope not!

First Post

Hi,
The same person that convinced me to get a DS says I needed one of these. So I made a blog.
